Welcome to the Vineyard
It’s a new sunrise for Jaffe Family Wines.
I’m one of thousands of people making wine in this valley, but there’s no one doing it quite like me.
I’m learning about this industry from the ground up one miracle (or disaster) at a time, and I want to share the journey with you.
Check in every now and then with my vintner’s journal to follow my progress keeping the family business, well, in business, as well as my reflections on growing up in the vineyard.

There is a lot going on under the surface here with Jaffe Family Wines. We are taking this year by storm with new ideas, new ventures, new wines, and a lot of old, time-honored traditions.
We have recently released our first ever white wine, a Chardonnay I am unfailingly proud of, and a sparkling wine, our “Apeiron” Blanc de Blancs to add a little extra effervescence to your celebratory occasions (or your Monday afternoons, we won’t judge you here).
We are preparing to take this show on the road, visiting our cherished Celestial Set wine club members all over the country.
I have something very special still in the barrel to surprise you with this spring, at the same time as we are daydreaming about upcoming blending sessions for our 2022 red varietals.
At the same time, I am exploring this valley in a new way. Growing up here, I can tell you all about my favorite places to eat, my go-to coffee shops, and the absolute best grassy hills to roll down if you can get past security. After moving home armed with a drivers license declaring me to be of legal drinking age, I am exploring the many wonderful wineries that bring so many people back year after year, and the bars that were previously off limits to me.
I expect this Vintner’s Journal to be filled with the musings of a young and wildly inexperienced woman learning how it’s done here in the wine business and notes about all things Napa Valley I get to discover.
I think it’s going to be a great story! So welcome to the Vineyard.
Cheers
